The “Touching the Art Room” of the MACBA arrives at the Campus Repsol of Madrid

Last October 17th, 2017, the Touching the Art Room was inaugurated at the Repsol Campus in Madrid. Fundación Repsol collaborates with the MACBA Foundation in its Accessibility Project with the aim of eliminating barriers in the museum and bringing contemporary art to all publics, in an inclusive and accessible manner.


The Touching the Art Room is a space where reproductions of some of the best works of the MACBA Collection are exhibited, accompanied by tactile sheets and Braille information for people with visual disabilities. The room was inaugurated at MACBA in 2014 by Antonio Brufau and Leopoldo Rodés, and has now been inaugurated at the Repsol Campus in Madrid in order to give continuity to the project and bring contemporary art closer to a growing audience.
